Rex informs Ezra that they’re retired, but Ezra tries to convince them to help out and requests for information on places they could build a rebel base on. Rex then tells him to be careful with them with displeasure.Īsking about Ahsoka, Rex is informed by Ezra that she and the rebels need the help of the clones. The crew is then invited into the AT-TE, where Ezra spots Clone Trooper helmets and starts touching them. Rex tells them history of the two and that a friend of hers is a friend of his. Ezra introduces the crew to the clones and tells them that Ahsoka sent them. Rex apologizes for the “weapons malfunction”. Ezra reminds Kanan that Ahsoka said to trust them. Immediately, Rex orders the other two clones to stand down. Sabine and Zeb draw their weapons and tell the clones to drop their weapons. Wolffe then gets paranoid, thinking the Jedi have come for revenge, and starts blasting shots at Kanan, who deflects the bolts with ease. To the point, Kanan ignites his lightsaber. Ezra asks if the numbers 7567 meant anything to them, Rex then informs the crew that those numbers are his birth numbers, which Kanan immediately acts to with distrust. The crew exits the Phantom and stand before the walker. The AT-TE comes to a halt as the Phantom lands near it. Following the guidance of the tactical droid, the crew stumble upon a mobile AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) which survived the Clone Wars, except this Walker has some extra parts added to it. These numbers are Rex’s clone numbers, CT-7567. Upon arriving on the surface of the planet, the Ghost crew activates the tactical droids head, which immediately starts repeating “7-5-6-7”. Hera is angry and tells Kanan to go with the rest of the crew in the Phantom down to the planet while Chopper and and her work on repairs. The Ghost ends up in distress due to Chopper messing something up. To the point that even Ezra asks Kanan what that was all about. She makes it a point to stress the word trust to him. She also tells Kanan specifically to trust Rex, but she terms him as “friend” so far. She then tells them where to look for Rex, but she also states she’s not going to be accompanying them because she needs to find more information on Vader. They’ve found her and Anakin a few times when they didn’t want to be found.
